Give Online and Support Parkinsons Research

About Us

Parkinson’s Benefactors Inc. is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based private, non-profit organization created to advance the work of local educational and medical institutions engaged in the research of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. In addition, Parkinson’s Benefactors works to provide assistance to individuals with Parkinson's Disease, their families and support team through educational programs and support services.

Parkinson’s Benefactors was conceived and established in 2005 by a group of individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area who were themselves diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease or who were the friends and families of individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

In considering the challenges faced by Parkinsonians and their support team, this group realized that there were no organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that were specifically focused on providing financial support to local research programs. Parkinson’s Benefactors was organized to create an endowment to support such local programs and to educate and assist Parkinsonians and their families on the various local resources available to them.

We seek to be good stewards over the donated money entrusted to us.  To view our most recent IRS Form 990, please click here
